Community Farmer Day - wildlife special!
On Saturdays through the Spring, Summer and Autumn we hold one-day volunteer events called Community Farmer Days, which are brilliant fun for all the family!
Spend the day on our beautiful, wildlife-friendly farm and get stuck into some farm work to help us grow delicious, organic vegetables. There’s loads to learn and no experience is necessary.
The Community Farm fields are in a beautiful setting, overlooking Chew Valley Lake. Adults and (supervised) children are welcome.
“Everyone was completely lovely and it was a truly excellent day. We can’t wait to go back.” — Community Farm Day attendee
What we'll be doing
You'll be joining us on the very first Community Farmer Day of the season, and it's going to be a special one! We'll be adding to our carefully managed margins by planting trees around our nature-friendly farm, gapping up the hedgerows and giving our hazel and willow coppice areas some care, providing extra habitats and food for all the wildlife that calls our farm home.
