Christmas Cheese Selection

If you are out to impress your guests this Christmas, this thoughtfully selected cheese board will be the perfect accompaniment to any festive gathering. Portioned to serve four people. Make sure you have a look at our crackers and seasonal chutney to serve.

Westcombe Cheddar - An authentic artisan cheddar, proudly made in East Somerset. Aged for up to 18-months. Handcrafted and clothbound this is a proper cheddar for the purists. It has a deep brothy flavour and mellow lactic tang with emerging notes of hazelnut, caramel and citrus. Made from unpasteurised cow’s milk and animal rennet. (250g)*

Cropwell Bishop - A traditional blue Stilton made in small batches by the Skailes family in Nottinghamshire. Smooth and buttery with a slightly peppery and strong, bluey finish. Made from pasteurised organic cow’s milk and vegetarian rennet. (250g)

Cotswold Brie - Produced by the Weaver family in Gloucestershire this is delicious white, soft moulded cheese, produced using milk from their own small herd of pasture-fed cows. It has a rich creamy, clean and fresh taste, and while it continues to develop flavour over its life, it doesn’t become a pungent cheese. A perfect cheese to provide balance to your board. Made from pasteurised organic cow’s milk and vegetarian rennet. (240g)

Katherine- This award-winning Somerset goat’s cheese is washed with Somerset Cider Brandy. A firm cheese, left to mature for up to 3 months resulting in a robustly nutty and earthy flavour. The washed rind provides a welcome zing. If you somehow have a little left after your Christmas feast, it also goes workswell grated a top a big bowl of pasta - a bit like a pecorino! Made from unpasteurised goat’s milk and animal rennet. (250g)*
